"I am not sure if Hatton would want to fight us"- says Amir khan

Former IBF and WBA light welterweight titlist Amir Khan believes a match with Ricky Hatton would be bigger than Haye vs. Chisora. However, the Bolton proud first wants to go for a rematch against Danny Garcia.
Ricky Hatton is currently serving the sport as a trainer following his retirement. The Englishman lost his last fight brutally to Manny Pacquiao, after which he hung his gloves. Now, rumours of a possible comeback of Hatton are circulating the main stream media. Chances are Hatton opting for a match against Amir Khan, who recently loss his WBA light welterweight title to Danny Garcia on July 14 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
“I don't think Ricky will want to fight us. I try to avoid the Ricky fight but you never know. It'd be a huge British fight and I don't think we've had a British fight like that. It would be bigger than the Dereck and David fight but who knows? For the moment I'm more focused on the Garcia fight because what burns me is that you know you made a mistake and you know what mistake you made,” said Khan regarding the possibility of a match against Hatton.
Garcia’s camp has already declined Khan’s offer of a rematch but the Briton believes the unbeaten American will have to go for it, whether he wants it or not.
“So the same thing, [if] he is in the corner there, he'll have to take the fight. No fighter likes to vacate titles so, if Garcia doesn't want to fight me, he might have to vacate the titles which I think is very bad. Let's see what happens,” said Khan.
Khan’s fourth round knockout defeat to Garcia was shocking and unbelievable, to him and to everyone else. Garcia was the underdog for the fight yet he conquered Khan within minutes in the ring. Initially, Khan made it a mark to claim he was not hurt by Garcia’s shots but after watching the fight, the former champion admitted his defeat.
Now, Khan is looking forward to a rematch against Garcia in December this year.
